His Imperial Majesty the Sovereign Aristene Emperor is Head of State and Government of the Aristene Empire.
He serves as the Empire's fount of honor, arbiter of symbolism, and leader in cultural initiatives. In addition, despite his proven commitment to sharing power with his subjects, he is constitutionally Autocrat of the Empire. He enacts laws, rules in judicial cases, and appoints Councilors and Ministers to assist him in the execution of Government.
The Emperor, Shawn, was born in 1973 and raised in Irwin, a suburb of Pittsburgh, capital of the Empire. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, holding an interdisciplinary degree in the physical sciences, and has a variety of interests in the fields of science, culture, language, religion, and history.
