Peerages from before the federal system

As interpreter of the Imperial Constitution and member of the Federal Council, I hereby issue the following ruling:

Since there is no provision for Imperial peerages in the new Constitution, and given discussions with my colleague the Prince of Grønbjerg, I find that the existing peerages granted by me as Emperor of Septempontia are in the peerage of Triparia and are treated as such, though recipients thereof are variously citizens of Triparia and Grønbjerg, or Federal citizens.

The Heads of State of the Empire may grant, revoke, augment, and degrade peerages within their States to any Imperial citizen soever.
